The top vie ferrata routes in northern Lake Garda area! Three full days of immersion in the world of vie ferrata following routes that with gradual and increasing difficulty lead to the discovery of the most fascinating views of the upper side of Lake Garda.
Lake, canyons and valleys interrupted by rocky spurs that combined with the pleasant mild climate make the territory of Garda become a destination of strong international appeal for those who love outdoor activities.
Program details
- DAY 1: FERRATA COLODRI E RIO SALLAGONI - at 08:30 meeting with the Mountain Guide for a short briefing on the program. The first day is dedicated to two scenic routes ideal to an introduction to the world of via ferrata. You start with Ferrata Colodri which goes up to the east wall of the homonymous mountain until it reaches the summit (398m), reserving a unique view on Arco and Valle del Sarca. In the afternoon you proceed with Ferrata Rio Sallagoni characterized by a suggestive development along the gorge of the homonymous stream until it reaches Drena Castle. Return to Riva del Garda and overnight stay in B&B. 3h30 (1h15 via ferrata)
- DAY 2: FERRATA SUSATTI – among the best known in Trentino, Ferrata Susatti directly overlooks the western side of Upper Garda reserving some of the most extraordinary views on the Lake and on Monte Baldo mountain range. Arrival point of the ferrata is Cima Capi (907m), from here the return route leads to the discovery of Austrian trenches and walkways dating back to the First World War thus assuming an interesting historical connotation. Return to B&B for the overnight stay. 5h30 (1h15 via ferrata)
- DAY 3: FERRATA PISETTA – considered one of the most demanding and challenging in the pre-Apian area, Ferrata Pisetta is characterized by the verticality and exposure of the passages which requires good physical preparation. The route reserves exciting and fun passages on vertical limestone walls, combined with unique views on the inter Valle dei Laghi and Lake Toblino. One reached Cima Garzolet (970m) the descent is set in the wood. 5h (2h30 via ferrata)

The program could be changed at discretion of the Campo Base Team / Mountain Guide - UIAGM based on weather conditions and snow levels, mantaining however inalterate the basic structure and the aims of the proposal.
