PROGRAM

1200 kilometers of slopes in the best ski resorts of the Dolomites, crossing the beautiful sceneries of three different Italian regions: South Tyrol, Trentino and Veneto. In the renowned ski areas of Val Gardena, Val Badia, Val di Fassa and Cortina D'Ampezzo you will enjoy a touring winter holiday from one place to another, embracing - and tasting! - Tyrolean, Ladin and Italian traditions while skiing in charming settings.

A five days’ tour, discovering many peculiar microcosms without the need to change accommodation every night: you will spend the first three nights in the beautiful Val Gardena and the following three in Cortina D'Ampezzo, staying in 4-star hotels. Surrounded by the mountain groups of Sella, Cir, Puez, Sassolungo and Odle, Val Gardena is a paradise for outdoor lovers and an essential section of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, a valley where the Ladin traditions are still alive.

Cortina D'Ampezzo needs no introduction: the absolute capital of skiing and winter sports, it hosted for the first time the Olympics in 1956 and will do it again in 2026.

The itinerary includes the ski area of Val di Fassa, the Marmolada glacier, the Falzarego pass, Lagazuoi and Cinque Torri, Cortina D'Ampezzo, Alta Badia, Val Gardena and Alpe di Siusi, all select destinations. The area is a large basin which shows many cultural differences and remarkable kinds of food and wine, as well as interesting traces of the most recent history: WWI marked forever the mountain peaks as much as the valley floor, and as a result numerous routes were born in memory of painful historical events which took place there.

You can decide to experience your ski safari in the Dolomites on self-guided or guided mode.

On a self-guided ski safari you will ski independently, therefore without the accompaniment of a Ski Guide. We will take care of all the organization, select and book hotels and huts, elaborate a detailed day-by-day itinerary and provide 24-hour support.

On a guided ski safari, for the entire duration of the ski safari, you will be accompanied by a Ski Guide and on prior request we can develop for you an itinerary which includes some off-piste tracks. A Ski Guide is the best solution if you want to live your experience on the snow in the Dolomites completely carefree. The Guide not only allows you to build a tailor-made holiday, but it is also a gateway to the culture and traditions of the Italian Alps.

To safely face the safari, you need to have a good skiing level which means being able to parallel ski on slopes of intermediate difficulty (red ski slopes).

Program details

  • DAY 1
Arrival in Val Gardena and overnight stay in a 4-star hotel.

  • DAY 2 - SKI AREA VAL GARDENA
The ski area of Val Gardena is the widest among those you will experience on your ski safari. Today you will cross the Seceda and Col Raiser-Saslong areas, appreciating the descents of the Ciampinoi in the shadow of the Sassolungo, observing in the distance the Odle, the Sella, the Sciliar, the Ortles and the Adamello, the Tofane. Enjoy your first day on the slopes, this is just the beginning! Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

  • DAY 3 - SKI AREA VAL GARDENA AND ALPE DI SIUSI
One of the best tours in the valley is waiting for you, between Ciampinoi and the splendid Alpe di Siusi: more than 50 square km of a high plateau, 170 km of slopes accessible to anyone and descents immersed in a magical frame. If you want to stay outside Alpe di Siusi plateau and enjoy more exciting slopes, you can do it in the rest of the Val Gardena area. At the end of the second day, dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

  • DAY 4 - PASSO SELLA AND MARMOLADA
Your third day on the slopes starts with the opportunity to ski under the queen of the Dolomites, the Marmolada, which with its 3343 m will rise in front of you and watch over your movements. The area has a great naturalistic value, and not only for the presence of the Marmolada: you will cross with skis on your feet the suggestive canyon Sottoguda, admiring the wonderful waterfalls - made of ice during this time of year - which lap the sides. Transfer by taxi to Cortina. Dinner and overnight stay in a 4-star hotel.

  • DAY 5 - SKI AREA TOFANE
Today you shall enjoy the views surrounding the ski area of Cortina. You will start the day with a pleasant series of blue slopes which will lead you to the most demanding descents, where you can taste the most famous curves: the Canalone, the Olimpia - today, hosting the women’s World Cup ski races -, the Schuss delle Tofane, where the need of technical gestures combines with a wonderful panorama. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

  • DAY 6 - SKI AREA LAGAZUOI AND ALTA BADIA
From Cortina you will move to the ski area Lagazuoi, where you will face slopes for all levels, in front of Civetta peak and then moving from Veneto to Trentino: you will fly over the Armentarola, one of the most beautiful tracks on the tour, among ice falls and steep canyons. At the end of the track you will find a horse-drawn sleigh that will take you to the ski area Alta Badia, rich in options to choose from: theme slopes, evocative tracks of extreme landscape value. Here you will also find the famous black track Gran Risa, which every year hosts the Giant Slalom World Cup. After a last day full of emotions, dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
