Trekking in the Stelvio National Park: guided trekking among alpine huts and refuges
A simple trek at the foot of the peaks of the Ortles Cevedale, in a place where unspoilt nature meets the charm of alpine traditions. In Val di Rabbi there is still the custom of mountain pasture, the summer movement of livestock from the valley floor to pastures at high altitude.
Along the route you will encounter some typical wooden and stone buildings, the so-called alpine pastures. Some huts are dedicated exclusively to the hospitality of animals and the production of dairy products, others offer the possibility of refreshment and accommodation. Some huts have been recently renovated and have comfortable private rooms decorated in alpine style. After spending a regenerating night we will completely immerse ourselves in the alpine spirit spending our second night in a refuge, where we can live in sharing with hikers and mountaineers the pure essence of the mountain!
A trekking that combines the knowledge of the rural world, the traditional hospitality of Trentino and good Alpine cuisine with the scents and sounds of nature within the largest protected area of the Alps.
