3 days on the Bocchette Via Ferrata in the Brenta Dolomites: guided hut-to-hut tour
Bocchette is one of the best and most beautiful via ferrata tour in the Dolomites and it is the quintessential symbol of Brenta Dolomites. This via ferrata is also one of the most complete and articulated via ferrata systems in the Alps.
The accomplishment of this peculiar high-altitude route began in the 1930s to connect all the huts in Brenta Dolomites with a single crossing. Taking advantage of the mountains' natural ledges it allows hikers to explore the extraordinary vertical world and enjoy the spectacular Dolomites at an altitude above 2.500 meters.
The via ferrata covers in 3 days the most famous part of this great crossing, which actually runs along the whole Brenta massif starting from Grostè Pass to the hut Rifugio XII Apostoli.
The itinerary begins with an easy introduction to the world of via ferratas along the Dallagiacoma trail. It is the perfect opportunity to learn all the technical aspects of via ferrata from the expert mountain guide accompanying you. The following day, you put everything you have learned into practice on the Sosat route, before concluding the tour with the Bocchette Centrali, the most renowned section of the grand traverse.
Each evening, you are welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere typical of alpine huts.
