PROGRAM
Experience the Dolomites with an authentic ski-in ski-out adventure
An itinerant ski safari in the heart of the Dolomites, designed to connect—dynamically, seamlessly, and entirely on skis—some of the most iconic resorts within the Dolomiti Superski area. A progressive and complete itinerary that, day after day, leads you across Cortina d’Ampezzo, Alta Badia, Arabba and Marmolada, Val di Fassa and Val Gardena, following a route that winds perfectly through legendary Dolomite passes, along perfectly interconnected slopes and ski areas, with ever-changing sceneries.
This is not just a standard ski holiday, but a true itinerant experience: each day has a clear direction, each valley reveals a distinct identity, and each ski area offers a unique way of experiencing the mountains—ranging from more technical and performance-oriented terrain to wide, scenic and relaxed environments. The result is an experience with a dynamic yet balanced rhytm, allowing you to discover the Dolomites in all their diversity from constantly changing perspectives.
The journey begins in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the beating heart of the Dolomites, among the Olympic slopes of the Tofane and the striking landscapes of the Cinque Torri. You then move on to the panoramic terrace of Lagazuoi before descending the spectacular Armentarola slope, one of the most scenic runs in the entire Alpine region. From here, you enter the wide and enjoyable terrain of the Alta Badia plateau, offering something for every skier, before continuing along sections of the Sellaronda route toward the Queen of the Dolomites: Marmolada. The journey then carries on across Passo Pordoi into Val di Fassa, and via Passo Sella into Val Gardena, the heart of international alpine skiing.
A defining feature of this program is its fully ski-in / ski-out structure, carefully designed to maximize the overall experience. Every transfer takes place exclusively on skis, making full use of the perfectly integrated network of lifts and slopes within Dolomiti Superski. Starting directly from the hotel, you move day by day across valleys, mountain passes, and ski resorts without interruption, reaching each evening’s destination at carefully selected alpine huts, all accessible on skis. This allows you to remain at altitude throughout the journey, experience the mountains even after the lifts close, and enjoy authentic alpine atmospheres, surrounded by silence, sunset light, and breathtaking views. The first and last nights are spent in 4-star hotels to ensure comfort and relaxation at the beginning and end of the tour.
Thanks to the luggage transfer service from hut to hut, you can move freely each day with only the essentials, without any logistical constraints.
An itinerary designed for those who want to experience the Dolomites in their entirety—by crossing them, moving through them, and living each day as part of one continuous and unforgettable ski journey.
Program details:
- Day 1
Arrival in Cortina and check-in in a 4* hotel.
- Day 2 - TOFANE & CINQUE TORRI
The journey begins in the heart of the Ampezzo Dolomites thanks to the Freccia nel Cielo cable car, which leads you in just a few minutes to the foot of the majestic Tofane. The pace is immediately right: skis on, breathtaking views, and long, rewarding descents. This iconic ski area is known worldwide for hosting the Milan-Cortina Women's Alpine Skiing Olympics. The ski area offers a variety of slopes: starting at the bottom with beginner slopes, perfect for gaining confidence, and then moving on to the black and red that run in the highest part of the area. One of its strengths is the quality of the slopes, which are groomed every evening by expert snow groomers. The “Olimpia delle Tofane” is the most popular, longest, and panoramic descent, alternating between more dynamic sections and wider, less challenging stretches. Every expert skier can't wait to launch off its famous Schuss. Between one ski run and the other, the gaze wanders over the panoramic peaks that tell the story of mountaineering. In the afternoon, you'll experience a change of scenery and head to the Cinque Torri ski area, where the atmosphere becomes quieter and more evocative. Here, you can ski among rocky towers rising from the snow until the sun sets. The day ends right at the foot of the Cinque Torri. Dinner and overnight stay in hut.
- Day 3 - LAGAZUOI & ARMENTAROLA
Today, one of the most evocative descents of the entire ski safari awaits you: the Armentarola slope. It's a long, 8.5km descent through a unique setting, surrounded by a majestic natural environment. Speed isn't important here, but rather the ability to savor every inch of the journey, letting yourself be carried away by the natural rhythm of the mountain and the almost fairytale landscape. From an altitude of 2,730 meters, you descend progressively until reaching 1,660 meters, traversing wide slopes and increasingly secluded environments. In the final stretches of the descent, one of the most iconic moments of the day awaits: the ski taxi pulled by the Armentarola horses. This unique tradition allows you to complete the route in an authentic and evocative way, at the slow pace of hooves on the snow, as was done in the olden days. At the end of the slope, you enter the Alta Badia ski area, where the day continues. Here, the slopes wind across a wide plateau between open pastures, sparse forests, and Ladin villages, where it's not uncommon to glimpse the typical local buildings, traditionally used as haystacks during the summer. Alpine tradition is deeply rooted in the area and is evident in every detail. Skiing in Alta Badia means moving through a bright and harmonious environment, always accompanied by spectacular views of the Sella Group, the Sassongher, and the Fanes peaks. Every turn is an invitation to slow down and enjoy the ever-changing panorama. Within this harmonious setting, you can have fun thanks to the Alta Badia Fun Park, which adds a creative dimension to skiing. You can try your hand at small race circuits, fun and accessible snow parks, and take souvenir photos at scenic spots. In the afternoon, ski to your hut, where the day ends with a hot meal. Dinner and overnight stay in hut.
- Day 4 - MARMOLADA: THE QUEEN OF THE DOLOMITES
From Alta Badia, the tour continues toward new destinations. Following a stretch of the Sellaronda, one of the most iconic ski circuits in the Dolomites, you'll navigate seamlessly connected slopes and uninterrupted views until you reach Arabba, the true gateway to a more alpine and vertical environment. Here, the scenery changes: the slopes become steeper, the slopes more vertical and adrenaline-filled, with long, panoramic descents. The heart of Arabba is undoubtedly Porta Vescovo. From its summit, an extraordinary panorama opens up, spanning the Sella Group to the Marmolada. It's the ideal place for those who love to immerse themselves in the authentic mountain atmosphere. But the excitement doesn't end there; the highlight of the day is the arrival on the Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites. From its 3,200-meter altitude, you embark on a long, continuous, and scenic 12km descent that passes through glacial environments and wide-open spaces. A ski experience to be enjoyed slowly, letting yourself be guided by the terrain and the grandeur of the landscape. You then return to Arabba to continue towards the Pordoi Pass, one of the most famous and panoramic passes in the Dolomites, surrounded by the iconic peaks of the Sella Group. At an altitude of 2,200 meters, the pass marks the entrance to the Val di Fassa and specifically the Canazei Ski Area. But the day isn't over yet: after some skiing on its varied and fun slopes, continue towards Buffaure, a less crowded area with a more rustic feel. Here, an authentic Alpine hut awaits, allowing you to end the day in tranquility and with spectacular views of the Val di Fassa and the Catinaccio massif. Dinner and overnight stay in hut.
- Day 5 - SKI AREA VAL DI FASSA & PASSO SELLA
The day begins immediately on skis, returning to the Belvedere - Col Rodella Ski Area. Here, you can experience the essence of the Val di Fassa Dolomites thanks to the unique views, direct connections to the Sellaronda, and wide, meticulously maintained slopes. Fun and boundless freedom are the watchwords. With your skis on, continue towards the Sella Pass, where the landscape changes. At the foot of the Sassolungo, you ski in the famous City of Stones, a true natural labyrinth of towers and boulders. The setting is certainly unique. Here, the slopes are more technical but wide and perfectly groomed. After the Sella Pass, you enter the last valley you'll discover during your ski safari: Val Gardena. The entrance is marked by the arrival in the Ciampinoi ski area. The Ciampinoi slopes are considered among the most famous and popular in the entire Val Gardena. Here, you can breathe the air of competitive skiing and the slopes become steeper and more vertical. The famous Saslong dominates the panorama. This slope hosts the men's downhill World Cup every year. In just a few minutes, it descends powerfully and directly towards Santa Cristina. From the top of Ciampinoi, the view is spectacular: the gaze sweeps from the Sella Group, the Sassolungo, all the way to the Odle. The day ends with perfect slopes and views, in a new, welcoming hut. Dinner and overnight stay in hut.
- Day 6 - SKI AREA VAL GARDENA
The final day of the tour is dedicated entirely to exploring Val Gardena and its small ski areas. Starting directly on skis, you can decide to ski the renowned Gardena Ronda circuit. In the morning, you'll head to the sunny slopes of Col Raiser and Seceda, an ideal side for morning skiing with panoramic views. The runs are long and alternate with more challenging sections. The most famous is the "Longia," a run over 10 km long with a 1,200-meter elevation gain leading down to the valley. From here, you can continue, passing through Ortisei, towards Alpe di Sisi, the largest high-altitude plateau in Europe. Skiing takes a different turn, becoming more relaxed and contemplative. The runs are easy and flowing, with wide open spaces. The connection with Monte Pana offers an additional dimension: a secluded, quiet, and well-maintained area. More ambitious skiers can also venture to the Gardena Pass, continuing along the Sellaronda circuit. Alternatively, you can choose to return to the hotel in the early afternoon and indulge in some relaxation. After a day of intense skiing, it's time to enjoy the hotel spa to recharge your batteries. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
- Day 7
After breakfast, check-out and departure
