An Overall View

This mountain chalet is located in the meadows and next to the woods of Val di Rabbi in Trentino and it represents a perfect combination of tradition and innovation. Chalet Mas Valorz is part of the “Ospitalità Rurale del Trentino” lodging experience and has been built using certain energy efficiency principles of climate-friendly ClimateHouse.

The chalet is divided into three separate appartment - for a total of 16 people - every appartment has its independent entrance: The Rododendro and Nigritella apartments on the first floor and the Stella Alpina attic on the second floor. The ground floor has a heated deposit room for skis and any other sport equipment as well as a laundry room.

The Stella Alpina attic - warm and welcoming - is entirely furnished in a traditional alpine style and it's composed of a bright, wide and panoramic living room, 3 double or twin rooms  and 2 bathrooms. The apartment features also a balcony overlooking the valley and a private entrance with access via an external, wooden staircase.

It has a large garden fully equipped with a barbecue, tables, benches and deckchairs, an open-air playground for children... not to mention the fun sleigh rides in winter. These are just some of the things that characterize Chalet Mas de Valorz!

In winter, in case of heavy snowfalls, cars will e parked approximately 200 m from the chalet and you will provided with free luggage transport service. 

Location & Activities

The chalet is located in Val di Rabbi, near the peaceful town of San Bernardo at an altitude of 1.100 m a.s.l in the Ortles - Cevedale mountain group. Valle di Valorz creates the perfect environmental setting for you holiday thanks to its amphitheatre of water falls and larches which turns the location into an enchanted scenery especially in winter.

In this extremely natural place, the hiking opportunities are countless, both in the summer and the winter months, and also for active sports such as rafting on the Noce river, mountain biking, ski mountaineering and ice-climbing.

Val di Rabbi is located in the Stelvio National Park and it is well known for its Thermal Spa. It’s about 18 km far from the new Daolasa-Val Mastellina ski resort, roughly a 23-minute drive, where there is a cable car which can bring you up to the heart of the Skiarea of Folgarida-Marilleva-Madonna di Campiglio in 12 minutes.
