Chalet Mas Cavalar disposes of two apartments: Campanula and Genziana.
Particularly cared for and largely covered with wood, the apartment Campanula is characterized by the arrangement set on three levels. From the garden, where during sunny days a good meal cooked on the barbecue is a must , you enter the dining room.
A wooden staircase leads to the first floor where there is a double bed, a private bathroom, a balcony and a side exit which leads directly to the garden that surrounds the chalet.
Going further up you arrive on the attic, where you find one double or two single beds, depending on your whishes.
Location & Activities
Chalet Mas Cavalar is situated in the town of Piazzola in the Cavallar area, at an altitude of 1350 m.a.s.l.
Located in Val di Rabbi, whose territory falls within the protected area of the Stelvio National Park, Maset en Cavalar is an excellent location to undertake a large number of excursions departing directly from the Chalet .
Walking, with snowshoes or with skis, you should first of all start with the hike along the 108 mountain track which leads you right to the Lago Corvo mountain refuge, passing through Malga Caldesa...this is just a short walk from the chalet!
It is an ideal Base Camp for a holiday spent surrounded by incredible natural settings, beautiful scenery and tranquillity!

General Conditions
Included services
- The price includes the rental of the hut for one week including the consumption of water, electricity and gas for the kitchen
Excluded services
Mandatory extras to pay on site:
- Obligatory rental of bed linen and towels € 12 per person
- Final cleaning € 50
- Tourist tax € 1,00 per person per night (from 14 years)
- Deposit € 150
Extras on request:
- Pets allowed on request € 20 per week (maximum 1 small pet)
- Baby cot rental € 20 per week
- For longer stays, change of bed linen on request between a week and another, € 12 per person
Notes:
- Heating provided by pellet stove
- Kitchen linen not provided
- Smoking is not allowed
- Check-in from 16:00 - Check-out before 09:30 / on request flexible entry and exit times will be granted in accordance with the availability of the cabin
Payment conditions
The booking will be confirmed only after having received a 30% deposit (or the full cost in case of “last minute” bookings) of the vacation.
Balance payment is due 30 days before the trip.
We accept the following payment methods: Bank transfer or credit card (Mastercard/ Visa).
Cancellation policy
In case of cancellation the following terms & conditions will be applied:
- 30% of the total price of the trip for cancellations communicated up to 45 days prior to the trip start date
- 70% of the total price of the trip for cancellations communicated from 44 to 30 days prior to the trip start date
- No refund beyond these terms
